Medical College for Women and Hospital (MCWH) is a project of Medical & Health Welfare Trust. This whole project is a non-profitable, voluntary, social work & self-income generating. Medical College for Women and Hospital (MCWH) is located at Sector- 1, Uttara (Plot 4, Road- 8/9). The premises consist of a total land 2 Bigha 12 Katha 65 Sq. feet. Medical College for Women and Hospital (MCWH) is built on a well-structured 1,80,000 Sq. feet premises.
With the tagline ‘Committed to Empathy’ the hospital started its journey from 1992.
The Hospital has 550 beds, accumulating 83 free beds (15% approx) and 385 bed occupancy (70% approx); a well-resourced providing both general and specialized services including,
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- High Dependency Unit (HDU)
- Neuro-surgical Unit, and Dialysis Unit
The Hospital delivers the laboratory facilities and the immunization facilities to the society. It caters the demand in the Health Services of the people and is providing world-class treatment.
